Good story between Josie and Patrick. Josie tries to be good despite her circumstances. Patrick begins to notice and wants to help her.
This is a beautiful story. There's a romance here, but Gods love and it's power to heal broken hearts and broken people is a major part of the book. Josies story will pull at your heart.
What would it be like if a man found a homeless person, let her into his home and eventually, asked her to be his wife? I think this author may have been pondering this question as she wrote this book. it can be so hard to let go of past hurts, but praise God, it is possible with His help. Very well done, again!

This was a tender love story. Patrick is a sweet, tender man with a kind soul. Josie is a homeless woman with a very low self esteem who does not feel worthy of anyone’s love. I love the tender care that Patrick showed Josie. It was a great story that touched a bit on the plight of the homeless. A hard subject these days.
I received an ARC of this story and am voluntarily leaving a review. Alexandra did a wonderful job addressing a tough topic such as homelessness and weaving it into a sweet romance. Josey and Patrick are both flawed characters who are loveable and interesting. While I love strong women characters, I'm still old fashioned enough to love seeing a man take care of his lady and vice versa. The journey to happily ever after in this book is probably not like one you've read before.
Loving Josie will make you cry as you live on the streets with Josie. Tayla Alexandra puts a face on homelessness. If you have not faced homelessness, you should not judge those who are. This is not your usual romance, but I loved it and read it in one sitting. Patrick had his own flaws but he was patient, caring and loving with Josie. I enjoyed watching Josie gain some self esteem and both Josie and Patrick draw closer to God. This is an excellent book and I highly recommend it. I thoroughly enjoyed reading Loving Josie. Having a homeless heroine, as in living on the streets, makes for unique situations. I loved Josie and Patrick. She was so determined, and he was so caring and kind. Josie was thankful to God for the smallest things, such as having a jar of peanut butter and a loaf of bread. There's godly wisdom sown seamlessly into this story. For example, as a teenager on a mission trip, Patrick had said, "You can't threaten me with heaven" in response to being denied the opportunity to minister in a dangerous area that was close by. The setting of Loving Josie was small-town Arizona in the winter. The resolution of the plot was incredibly touching. I plan to read more of Tayla Alexandra's books. I highly recommend this one to readers of Christian romance. I received an ARC. I chose to write a review and share my opinion.
